Who this notice covers
This notice describes the Origin Trove website. For questions about data handled through this site, email theiconsorigin@gmail.com. External retailers, email providers and linked services have their own notices.
Saved looks and products
Bookmarking an item stores its identifier in this browser’s local storage. These lists stay on the same browser and device; they are not uploaded to an Origin Trove account. Remove individual entries with the bookmark buttons or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Clearing storage or using private browsing can remove or change the list.
Searches and the desk planner
Filters, product searches and planner calculations run in your browser. Planner measurements are neither saved nor sent by the planner. A submitted product or look search can appear in the URL and in your browser history, so do not enter sensitive information. Downloaded desk plans are files you choose to save on your own device.
Contact emails
The contact form prepares a draft in your email application. It does not submit or store a message on this website. If you send the draft, your email address, name and message are processed by your email provider and the recipient as ordinary email. Do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information. Correspondence may be retained as needed to respond to your enquiry and keep a record of the issue; you may request deletion by email, subject to any records that must be retained.
Hosting and external images
Hosting and security providers process technical request information, which may include IP address, browser information and requested URLs, to deliver and protect the site. Some product images are requested from an official provider’s server. That provider can receive ordinary request information when the image loads. Origin Trove does not operate those providers’ logs or retention settings.
Advertising and analytics
Origin Trove includes Google AdSense code for site verification and, if enabled and approved, displaying advertising. The code can communicate with Google and its partners, who may use cookies or similar technologies. Origin Trove does not currently use an analytics service or operate a newsletter or paid checkout.
If Google advertising is enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to personalize advertising. Visitors can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center and learn how Google handles partner-site data in Google’s partner-sites notice. Where required, a consent message must offer relevant privacy choices before personalized ads are shown.
Affiliate tracking and external stores
Following an affiliate link, if one is labelled, can let the affiliate network and retailer record the referral using cookies or similar identifiers under their own notices. Current ordinary retailer links do not earn us commission. Origin Trove does not receive your retailer password or payment-card information. We update this notice when our advertising or analytics practices change.
Children
The site is intended for a general audience of fans and shoppers, not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not provide child accounts or knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has emailed personal information to us, contact the address above so we can review and delete it where appropriate. Publisher age ratings belong to the individual title and should be checked by a parent or guardian when choosing for a child.
Your choices
You can remove saved items, clear browser data, avoid sending an email and choose whether to follow external links. Your browser offers cookie and storage controls. For access, correction or deletion requests concerning an email you sent us, contact the address above and identify the relevant correspondence. This site has no account profile to download or delete.
Changes
When the site’s actual data practices change, this notice should change with them. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
